Shipping policy
Shipping Policy:
Orders will be shipped using UPS/FedEx Overnight Shipping service, we will select which service to use for shipping based on your shipping address. Most items will be received at 12pm the following day but this is not guaranteed.
Shipping within the state of Florida is a flat rate of $30 and out of the state of Florida is $55. Free Shipping only applies to orders over $300.
For shipments to remote locations it might require picking up the package from a UPS/Fedex Location. If your package is subject to this condition we will inform you prior to shipping your order.
Shipping tracking number will be provided once the item has been shipped so you can track the package. You as the buyer are responsible to track your package and receive the package from the shipping carrier.
Unfortunately Berghia To Go will not be held responsible for delays in your package due to weather, mechanical, or any other unforeseen circumstances once the item has been shipped through UPS/FedEx they have full responsibility.
The shipping address will be provided by you at check out. If there is a mistake in the address provided, it is not Berghia To Go's responsibility. Buyer is responsible to make sure the shipping address is accurate.
No shipping is allowed to PO boxes. Currently no shipping is allowed to Alaska, Hawaii, and International buyers.
Preferred Shipping Date: If you have a specific day you would like to receive your order, you need to inform us within two hours after your purchase. Otherwise, I have the right to select which day I prefer to ship out your order, it can be as soon as I receive payment.
Typical shipping days are between Monday thru Thursday.
Shipping Schedule: Due to large order demand, orders can take up to 1 week to ship out when payment is received. We try to ship out orders as fast as possible so please bear with us.
Depending on weather conditions package ship out dates can change as well. The most important part for us is to make sure your purchase arrives safe and healthy.
DOA (Dead On Arrival):
Berghia To Go's will guarantee that you will receive the exact item you purchased and it will also arrive alive. Please keep in mind these Berghia Nudibranch's will be in a hibernation mode once they first arrive and will require a few minutes to start looking active and awake.
In the unfortunate event that the item you received is DOA (Dead On Arrival) you must contact us (via email) within 2 hours of when the package was delivered. If the package was delayed due to the shipping carrier we are not responsible for covering the shipping costs. We will work with you to make things right.
The UPS posted time will be used to confirm the delivery time when the package was delivered. A clear photo of the dead Berghia Nudibranch while still in the shipping container (The full container needs to be shown partial container photos will not be accepted) is required so do not dispose of the Berghia Nudibranch until you receive an email back from us.
We have shipped out 1000's of these Berghia Nudibranchs over the years and it is extremely rare for us to have a DOA unless the carrier has delayed the arrival of your package.
If no photo has been provided within the two hours the guarantee will unfortunately be void. Once your DOA is confirmed you will be issued a store credit that can be used on future purchases. Store credit provided does not include the shipping costs. Unfortunately we do not offer refunds or returns.
